Ultrahuman’s absurdly expensive Home monitor doesn’t do much

Summary
Smart Wearables creator Ultrahuman has introduced a new device which monitors changes to a person’s home that could impact their health.
The $549 Home gadget tracks six environmental factors, sending the data to the user’s phone, and offering suggestions on how they affect sleep and heart rate, via the company’s Ring wearable.
The device tracks noise levels, air quality, humidity, light and temperature.
However, critics have argued that – unlike smart indoor air quality sensors from companies including Amazon and Ikea – the gadget doesn’t offer ways to mitigate the issues it detects.
Instead, it merely increases users’ paranoia about issues within their home environment.
