Realme’s new flagships squeeze in enormous 7,000mAh batteries

Realme has released two new smartphones, the GT 7 and GT 7T, in Europe and India, marking the brand’s first push into the international market.
The devices share several features, including a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits, and a 7,000 mAh battery which can be fast charged to 50% in 14 minutes.
The more expensive GT 7 offers 12GB RAM and 256GB storage memory, starting at €749.99; the limited edition ‘Dream’ model costs €899.99 and includes 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The cheaper GT 7T has a slightly larger 6.8-inch display, a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits, and two rear cameras consisting of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera, starting at €649.99.
Both phones run on a customised Android interface and offer Wi-Fi 7, NFC and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
