Summary
The Insta360 X5 is the latest action camera from the company, featuring replaceable lenses in case they become damaged during active use.
This enables the camera to avoid becoming e-waste, a common issue with these types of devices.
The X5 also features larger sensors, enhanced low-light filming capabilities thanks to a new PureVideo mode using AI noise reduction and dynamic range optimisation, and a 2,400mAh battery for better battery life.
It can take 72-megapixel still photos and 8K/30 fps videos, with frame rates of 60 fps at 5.7K and 120 fps at 4K.
Other features include water resistance to 49 feet, a new mode called InstaFrame to facilitate sharing on social media, and Twist to Shoot to start recording when the camera is difficult to access.
