Summary
Robosen’s latest addition to its range of Transformers robot toys is a $1,299 self-transforming Bumblebee that goes from a standing robot to a Volkswagen Beetle that can be driven using a smartphone app.
Powered by 31 servo motors, the toy is voice-controlled and features over 200 lines of dialogue recorded by the original voice actor from the 1980s Transformers cartoon.
preceding Robosen’s Grimlock Dinobot toy, which cost $1,700, the new Bumblebee is available for a 30% discount for a limited time only.
Owners can use the mobile app to create long animated sequences, while four toys can interact with each other and react to attacks and punches, playing out battle scenarios.
Last year, Robosen released a non-transforming Bumblebee toy for $399.
