A “former troubleshooter for the mafia” who spent a decade in US jails has risen from incarceration to become a prison consultant for the white-collar sector.
His services range from 3,500to50,000 and cater to those facing charges of financial fraud, drugs, or wire fraud, helping them to prepare for prison and reduce their time inside.
His self-described no-bullshit approach involves berating and cursing at clients, which he combines with helping people, including those who have been over-sentenced, and “taking control of stupid people” through manipulation.
He also offers advice on the politics of prison life, from dealing with correctional officers to other inmates, as well as how to lie effectively and beat polygraph tests.
With between 50 and 100 clients at any one time, he helps people to stay calm amid what he calls the boredom of prison, where he predicts they will go, and offers psychological solace to their families.
