An ultra-wideband (UWB) getting-started guide has been produced by Jaryd, which features the AI Thinker BU03.
The UWB modules can determine distance between two of them to an accuracy of 10 cm and they work in any orientation, with obstacles in the line of sight.
They can also be used to create a network of these UWB modules, enabling real-time 3D tracking of a device.
Jaryd uses a Raspberry Pi Pico for command and control purposes, and reports distances of up to 10 meters, and up to 30 meters in favourable conditions.
