As part of the legislation, tax credits for purchasing alternatively fuelled vehicles will end on 30 September, affecting approximately 2 million consumers who used the home improvement tax credit in its first year of inception.
Additionally, tax credits for installing renewable energy generators, such as solar panels, will end on 31 December, after the bill cut the timeframe for such incentives from 2032 to as little as a few months.
