Summary
Apple has revealed that its new iPhone Air is made from 80% recycled titanium, making the most of recycled materials in its chassis so far.
The whole device is composed of 35% recycled material by weight, with the company aiming to increase this number in the future.
It is slimmer than previous models, with a 3D-printed titanium USB-C port to match its new design, which Apple says uses 33% less material than usual.
Its latest Apple Watch line, including the Ultra 3, SE 3 and Series 11, are made from 40% recycled content, with 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and 100% recycled aluminium or titanium in the cases.
This is an increase from the 100% recycled aluminium or 95% recycled titanium used in its Series 10 watch cases.
