Blue Origin’s maiden flight of the New Glenn rocket was a success.
The rivalry between Blue Origin and SpaceX was highlighted as SpaceX performed its second successful Super Heavy booster catch shortly after.
Two private companies, ispace and Firefly Aerospace, also had moon landers launched by SpaceX.
Varda Space Industries successfully launched its second orbital reentry capsule, W-2, which is being used to test manufacturing high-value materials in microgravity.
A biotechnology startup, Colossal Biosciences, which aims to bring back animals from extinction, raised $200 ma t a v a l u a t i o n o f$ 10.2bn.
And, Anduril announced that it is to develop its first Arsenal factory in Columbus, Ohio, with an investment of almost $1bn.
