Summary
Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion is a new shoot ‘em up (shooter) game with over 50 unique robots to defeat and more than 200 hand drawn NPCs.
The game has a strong retro vibe and feels reminiscent of early 2000s Newgrounds games, and combines this with a similar aesthetic to the animated series Adventure Time.
With a range of gun types and details such as “a guy named Donnie who’s a freak”, the game aims to please fans of shooters, animation and surrealism.
Currently slated for release on 10 July, you can wishlist the game on Steam.
Developer Bubby Darkstar also created Subway Midnight, which surprised the author by not having a larger fan base given how visually compelling it is.
The author admits to not usually liking shooters, but is keen to play this title.
