During its Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft revealed more details about its new handheld gaming device, partnered with Asus, named the ROG Xbox Ally.
The device is due to launch during the 2025 holiday season, and will be able to play all Xbox games shown at the event.
It is speculated that Microsoft has chosen to partner with Asus on a pre-existing device due to the fact that it is just a handheld PC, and so reinventing the wheel would not be wise.
The news comes shortly after calls from the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement for a boycott of Microsoft due to its business ties with the Israeli military.
No further speculation about the device can be made until its full release later this year.
