Clockwork Revolution is a steampunk time travel shooter game from InXile Entertainment, the developers of Wasteland 3 and Torment: Tides Of Numenera
It first appeared a couple of years ago and now it’s back, with an extensive trailer appearing at the Xbox showcase
InXile’s previous game Wasteland 3 was a bit bloated and backwards-looking, but interestingly Clockwork Revolution seems to be drawing on inspirations from 5 to 10 years ago for its design
Despite the developer’s history, this game looks like a fun FPS-RPG hybrid with lots of dialogue, customisable guns, time powers, classes, traits, attributes and heists with a strong steampunk flavour and British accents.
It’s certainly worth watching the trailer to get a feel for yourself.
