New RPG The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, from developer Owlcat Games, will be set in the universe of the books and TV series of the same name.
Players will be able to create their own character and recruit a crew to traverse the solar system and make their own story in this hard sci-fi universe.
The game’s combat is said to be inspired by Mass Effect, featuring third-person shooting and cover mechanics, while relationships with crew members will also be a key part of the game.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is slated to come to Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG “soon”, and is being developed by a new team at Owlcat, with no overlap with other projects like the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy.
