  • It is a real-time strategy game based on the popular and prolific book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R.R. Martin, which has already spawned multiple successful small and big-screen adaptations.
  • The game is described as “deeply asymmetrical” and will allow users to play as four familiar factions: the Great Houses of Stark, Lannister and Targaryen, and the frosty forces of the Night King.
  • It will have signature heroes, with special abilities, and regular units, including giants, siege engines and dragons.
  • It is set for release in 2026, and alongside one-off skrimish matches, it will have a campaign mode, for what Warner Bros call “a lengthy struggle for control of the seven Kingdoms.
