Summary
Ill is a new horror shooter developed by the brothers at Team Clout, and was showcased at this year’s Summer Game Fest.
The game is set in a dystopian reality, and players will have to battle Freddy Krueger-like enemies, while simultaneously managing their weaponry.
The Steam page for Ill says that players will need to undertake mandatory weapon maintenance, consider ammunition types, and even undertake malfunction checks in order to progress through the game.
The developers say that the animation system considers physical characteristics, so players will feel the weight of their weapons.
Ill began life as a concept trailer, developed in Unreal Engine, and has since evolved into a fully-fledged shooter.
