Summary
Guilty Gear developers Arc System Works have partnered with Marvel to make Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
The game was shown at last night’s State of Play event, and a full roster was also subsequently announced.
The roster includes Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Storm and Doctor Doom, among others.
The game will be a 4v4 tag battle fighting game, which the developers say will be simplified so that players only need to master one character.
The game’s visual style went through several iterations, originally being based more on Western comic books before Marvel insisted on a more anime-style approach.
It is set for release in 2026 on PS5, Steam and Epic.
