In a tech demo shown at the recent Unreal 2023 event, CD Projekt presented a new character that fans believe they recognised the voice of.
Voice actor Richard Hawley portrayed multiple characters in the Witcher games, including Dijikstra and Carduin of Lan Exeter.
It is the latter that piques peoples’ interest, as the new character in the demo mentions a place called Lan Exeter, which is the birthplace of Carduin according topendium in The Witcher 2.
Furthermore, the voice in the demo bears a notable resemblance to Hawley’s other performances.
However, CD Projekt has yet to confirm whether this is the case or not.
With any luck, the developer will provide more information in the future.
