The debut of the new gameplay trailer for MindsEye, which has been heavily promoted by its studio Build a Rocket Boy, has been met with scepticism from gamers.
This scepticism has increased this week with the news that two key executives at the studio, Chief Legal Officer Riley Graebner and Chief Financial Officer Paul Bland, have departed the company, just weeks before the game’s release.
There is concern that this could indicate underlying issues with the game, however, the studio has stated that the executives’ departures were amicable and that the game is still on track for release on June 13.
Very little gameplay has been seen yet, but IO Interactive, the publishers behind it, will be showing off more this Friday, June 6.
Its likely that the gameplay reveal will be overshadowed by IO’s reveal of the new James Bond game, 007 First Light.
