Developer SCS Software has revealed via a new trailer that its popular truck-driving simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2), will add drivable buses to the game in the near future.
Although the trailer doesn’t specify exactly what form the new functionality will take, it is likely to be a large DLC pack, and the first new form of transportation since boats were added to the game in 2021.
The arrival of buses in ETS2 comes after the developer mooted the possibility of broadening the game beyond trucks back in 2013, although those plans were never implemented.
ETS2’s additions closely mirror those planned for SCS Software’s similar title, American Truck Simulator, which is set to add pickups and other smaller vehicles to that game later this year.
