Persona 4 remake is on the way, according to one annoyed voice actor

English voice actor Yuri Lowenthal, who played Yosuke in Persona 4, has revealed that he has asked and been turned down to play the character again in a possible upcoming remake of the game.
His social media post about the subject has since been deleted.
Fellow voice actor Erin Fitzgerald, who played Chie in Persona 4, has also said she has not been asked to reprise her role for the remake.
There are already rumours of a Persona 4 remake following the success of Persona 3’s remake, and the regular fervent requests from fans for a new game in the series.
There has been no announcement from developers Atlus about a Persona 4 remake, or a new game in the series, with the company recently focusing on spin-offs from Persona 5.
A PC remaster of Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden, was released in 2020.
