Summary
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a sequel to the 2020 shooter game, has been announced for 2026 at this year’s Warhammer Skulls Showcase.
The reveal trailer shows the game will feature familiar enemies such as Nurglings and Chaos Cultists, as well as new enemies such as Bloodletters and Juggernauts.
There will be new weapons, locations and a story that branches depending on the player’s actions, as well as the ability to play alongside other players.
Meanwhile, a new game, Words of Vengeance, described as a “first-person typer”, is available to play for free.
This is reminiscent of the 1999 game The Typing of the Dead, and has a similar aesthetic to Warrant 40,000: Boltgun.
