The Warhammer Skulls Showcase disclosed a plethora of upcoming Warhammer 40K games, including a sequel to Boltgun and a definitive edition of Dawn of War.
CRPG enthusiasts were pleased to learn of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, a party-based title from Owlcat Games.
-akin to Rogue Trader, it will utilise turn-based combat with intricate investigations, grave consequences and decisions resting in the player’s hands as an inquisitor of the Calixis Sector.
While there is no set date, it is known that Owlcat Games is currently working on Rogue Trader, with the game’s next expansion Lex Imperialis set to release on June 24, 2023.
Alongside this, two more expansions are set to come in either January-March and July-September 2023.
The base game, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, is currently half-price.
