AMD’s Radeon RX 9060 XT wants to be the cheapest 16GB GPU on the market

Computex 2022 has seen AMD unveil new Ryzen Threadripper CPUs and confirm the rumour of a mid-range Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, the latter of which will be released in June and will be available in 8GB and 16GB versions.
Rock Paper Shotgun suggests the pricing of the 16GB version ($349) might be competitive, as due to the current GPU shortage, the cheapest card available at any given time might be the cheapest one, even if its actual price does not reflect this.
The fact it will have PCIe 5.0 x16 bandwidth and claim 6% superior performance to the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti at 1440p has led to encouragement about the card amongst critics.
It is worth noting, however, that Nvidia is currently facing allegations of preferential treatment of favourable media outlets and pressuring independent reviews, which could sway public opinion in the meantime.
