Shift Up Corporation, developers of the soon to be released action role-playing game Stellar Blade, have hinted that a sequel to the game is in the works, according to Insider Gaming and Rock, Paper, Shotgun.
The developer released its investor relations presentation for May this year, which included a section on its strategy for the game.
While most of the document was uninteresting to consumers, a slide titled ‘Stellar Blade’ included a label titled ‘platform expansion’, presumably regarding the game’s upcoming PC port, and a section marked ‘sequel’.
The slide also detailed when these moves were to take place, between 2024, when Stellar Blade was released, and 2027.
This timeline may indicate that a sequel is planned for around 2027, however, no official announcement has been made by the company.
Stellar Blade is set to be released on PC on June 11th, though it is region locked for some areas.
