After a rocky year, Risk of Rain 2's next bit of DLC looks to offer some stable ground

Summary
Gaming publisher Gearbox has announced a new expansion for its rogue-like multiplayer game Risk of Rain 2 called Alloyed Collective.
The expansion is due to be released sometime in the near future, although an exact date has not been announced.
The expansion will include six new stages, two new playable characters, seven new enemy types, and 15 new items.
Additionally, there will be a new drone station where players can modify drones to aid them during gameplay.
Risk of Rain 2’s previous expansion, Seekers of the Storm, was plagued with bugs at launch that rendered it unplayable; hopefully, Alloyed Collective will not suffer the same fate.
The expansion will be available on Steam, and players will need only one copy to gain access to the new content for their group. Shops, Items, and Monsters will be available for all players, but only those who own the expansion will have access to the new characters and other permanent unlocks.
The developers have not yet announced a release date for Alloyed Collective.
