Summary
Overwatch 2 season 16 is introducing a new mode called Stadium, where players are locked to one hero and battle for the best of seven rounds.
This new mode, along with the introduction of hero bans, will change the competitive aspect of the game quite dramatically.
-Hero bans will allow up to four heroes to be banned from play before each match.
Both sides will be able to vote for two heroes per side, with a maximum of two heroes per role.
These changes are designed to add an extra layer of strategy and mind games before matches begin, and are also intended to mix up the meta.
There is also a new damage hero, Freja, a new mythic skin for Juno, and heavy-metal skins for Ashe and Lifeweaver, amongst other skins.
Those who play the game will have to get used to these new developments and adapt their playing and strategising styles accordingly.
