Summary
Stormbinders is a new turn-based fantasy strategy game in which players wield armies and control castles.
The weather pattern in each gameplay session is randomly generated, which is intended to add an element of variability to the game’s battles and global map.
While exploring maps, collecting treasure and engaging in hex-based combat, players can build up their settlements.
There is also a focus on hero and unit customisation, with over 18 units to choose from, including legendary heroes, wise spellcasters and mystical creatures.
Publisher Slytherin will host a presentation providing an in-depth look at Stormbinders’ systems on 10 April, ahead of the game’s release date, which has not yet been announced.
It will compete with the upcoming Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, developed by Ubisoft, which is set to be released in Q2 2025.
