Developer gameXcite is releasing a new PC strategy game called Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown that will feature various elements of the classic Star Trek: Voyager TV series.
The game will feature a blend of exploration, ship and resource management, as well as including rogue-like elements, and will see players make moral decisions and engage in diplomacy.
The game will include ship-to-ship combats, as well as a ship interior that can be customised with various facilities as a form of base-building.
Players will also be able to explore the Delta Quadrant where the game is set and go on away missions, as well as seeing “iconic characters” make an appearance.
There is no release date for the game yet, and according to Rock, Paper, Shotgun it is more of a nostalgia trip than a proven studio showing off their interpretation of the Star Trek universe.
