BioShock 4 studio Cloud Chamber lay off staff, as ex-Diablo lead Rod Fergusson comes aboard

Summary
Employees at BioShock 4 developer Cloud Chamber have been laid off, according to a report by Rock Paper Shotgun on 22 August.
The number of redundancies has not been confirmed.
The decision comes as former Diablo executive producer Rod Fergusson joins the company as its new head, replacing Kelley Gilmore who left in August.
Bloomberg reported earlier this month that the game had failed a internal progress check, and that Gilmore and creative director Hogarth de la Plante had moved to different roles as a result.
Despite this, the game’s publisher Take-Two has insisted it will still be released.
Fergusson has been brought in to “rework certain aspects” of the title, and has previous experience of doing this, having joined BioShock Infinite more than a decade ago to help complete that game’s development.
