Steam now has language-specific review scores, which might make identifying certain review bombs easier

Summary
Valve has introduced a new way of reviewing Steam games which offers scores based on individual languages.
The overall score of a game hasn’t changed, it’s just that players can now delve deeper and see scores based on specific languages.
This requires a minimum of 200 reviews in the language and a total of 2,000 reviews in total for a game to qualify.
It’s hoped the new scores will give insights into why players from certain regions or languages dislike certain elements of a game and to clarify issues around translation issues, cultural references and poor network connections.
For example, Rock Paper Shotgun spotted that after a disputed translation issue with Hell Divers 2, Chinese players gave the game numerous negative reviews and it consequently suffered a drop in its overall score.
However, with the new system players and developers are able to see such fluctuations in scores in certain languages, and understand the reasons.
