Summary
US-based games developer, Elissa Black, who worked on Objects In Space, has announced a new turn-based strategy game, Deck & Conn, currently on Steam in early access, where it has already garnered positive reviews.
It’s a retro-style tactical challenge that revolves around command of a Cold War-style nuclear-powered astral corvette.
The game features dynamic campaign, including patrols, ship upgrades and promotions, as well as a range of scenarios to develop tactical expertise.
It is expected to leave early access next year and a trailer is available on YouTube.
Black’s previous game, Swords of Freeport is a text-based social RPG inspired by BBS door games from the 1990s.
