Summary
Blackbird Interactive has bought Hardspace: Shipbreaker from Saber Interactive, and is now the sole owner of the simulation title’s IP.
As a result, the studio has said it is developing “multiple Hardspace projects”, although it did not reveal what these may be.
To grow the Hardspace community ahead of these titles’ releases, the developer has urged fans to join its Discord server for regular updates, and sign up to its pre-registration playtest scheme, the LYNX Pioneer Program.
In a recent review, Rock Paper Shotgun called the game “a truly marvellous thing to spend time within,” awarding it an 84/100.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a solo simulation game, released in 2021, in which players assume the role of a spaceship breaker, scraping old vessels for parts.
