Summary
A new Monument Valley-esque location called Mesa, with a rotation of biome types planned, has been added to climbing game Peak in an update from developers Aggro Crab and Landfall Games.
The Mesa location offers sandy terrain, scorching sun, mystery, whirling tornadoes and the lethal tumbling weeds in a new setting that threatens to topple climbers as they attempt to scale the cliffs.
The update includes new items such as balloons, scout cannons, parasols, sunscreen and aloe vera as well as sticks of dynamite.
Players are encouraged to earn new badges that provide access to fresh gear.
The update also includes an optional no-insects mode, performance improvements and bug fixes.
The developers say they do not know what further updates will include, but they will focus on bug and stability patches for now.
