Mass Effect 5 devs should scapegoat Veilguard and a Dragon Age trilogy remaster was pitched to EA, says ex-BioWare producer

Mark Darrah, the former executive producer of Dragon Age, has said in a recent interview that he encouraged the developers of the next Mass Effect game to learn from the mistakes made in the development of Dragon Age: The Veilguard by “escaping doping” the game as necessary.
Darrah also pointed out that Mass Effect games are much easier to remastered than those of the Dragon Age series, and expressed his hope that the next Mass Effect game will not face the difficulties that the Veilguard developer has suffered.
In the same interview, Darrah discussed his idea to remastered the first three Dragon Age games and the difficulties he faced in making this idea a reality, as EA is historically opposed to remasters and the Dragon Age series is more difficult to remastered than the Mass Effect series.
The reasons for this are partly due to the fact that the Dragon Age series uses two different engines and is therefore more difficult and time consuming to remodel than the Mass Effect series.
Darrah hopes that Mass Effect’s next game will learn from the mistakes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard and does not repeat its troubled development cycle.
