Despite reports that the as-yet-unnamed BioShock 4 title has suffered issues in terms of its storyline and internal checks, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick has vowed that it will still be released.
When asked about the title, Zelnick stated: “It’s going to come out.
That I can say hand on heart, without question,” He also acknowledged that the game’s development had seen “changes in studio leadership”, and that its creators were faced with the challenge of living up to the reputation of the series creators, and that the company’s strategy was to “make the best entertainment, not necessarily the most entertainment”.
The executive added that increasingly, “good is the new bad”, meaning that the bar for what is considered successful or fail is growing increasingly higher and that consumers are becoming more demanding.
