Summary
The open beta for Battlefield 6 begins on 9 August and ends on 17 August, with early access available from 7 August for those who subscribed to EA Play Pro or registered for Battlefield Labs before 31 July.
The beta will feature three maps - Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak and Iberian Offensive - and three modes - conquest, breakthrough and closed weapon breakthrough - on the first weekend.
For the second weekend, the Empire State map, rush and squad deathmatch modes will be added.
Based on feedback from Battlefield Labs, changes will include allowing players to choose between closed and open weapon modes, balancing damage across the weapon pool, and introducing signature weapons.
Further changes will be made following the conclusion of the beta ahead of the game’s launch.
