Build underwater cities out of Tetris pieces in Podvodsk, a game jam freebie from the Loop Hero developers

Summary
Podvodsk is a new version of the classic Tetris game, developed by Russian company Four Quarters, the makers of Loop Hero.
Instead of simply stacking blocks to complete rows and clear the screen, in Podvodsk the player is building a society that exists underneath a platform on the ocean surface.
Points are earned and deducted based on the building types and their proximity to one another, for example residential blocks score more points when close to different types of buildings, while business centres prefer distance from other buildings.
The game is a free experiment from the company, made in just three weeks during a game jam.
It can be downloaded for free from itch.io.
Four Quarters has voiced opposition to Russia’s war in Ukraine, saying it has “always been for peace and kindness.
