The Outer Worlds 2 wants you to join the space police

Summary
The Outer Worlds 2 is set to be released on 29 October 2021, over five years after the first game’s launch.
The prequel saw players assuming the role of an agent in the Earth Directorate, a policing force meant to protect colonists.
However, players are quickly drawn into a secret mission to extract a rare “unsealed” skip drive core from the secretive Arcadian system.
The game features strong voice acting and motion capture, which helped the player to immerse themself in the futuristic setting.
The game’s writing is also somewhat cynical and sardonic, which criticises the notion that players are “not just a cog in the machine” but “the cog”. Past performances of the developer, Obsidian Entertainment, suggest a promising game and such vapourises any doubt that the game will not succeed its predecessor.
