Drag x Drive is a uniquely fun and frustrating showcase for Switch 2 mouse mode

Summary
In his recent review of Nintendo’s Drag x Drive, freelancer Andrew Cunningham recounts how using two mice simultaneously radically alters the nature of gameplay, such as in this case where it enables a fresh and intense experience of playing wheelchair basketball.
He says that the two mice are used basically as substitutes for the two joysticks on either side of a standard controller, used in this case for forward-backward movement and for steering, with the individual mice generally being used for sweeping movements rather than the small, precise movements one might expect.
He concludes that using two mice simultaneously makes for a “fresh control scheme” that takes a bit of practice to master but that ultimately enables a “high-impact, full-contact, precision positional gameplay” experience.
