The Mobile World Congress (MWC) took place in Barcelona this week, and several companies used the event to launch or showcase new products and concepts in the tech sphere.
Among the standout devices revealed were:Nothing’s new “Phone (3a)” and “Phone (3a) Pro”, which the brand says offer a “versatile triple-camera setup” and are available for under $500; Xiaomi’s new Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra smartphones, which the brand says have “excellent screens, strong battery life, fast charging, and silky performance” and come with a range of additional gadgets; Huawei’s new Watch 5 Ultra, which the company describes as having a “classy octagonal titanium case and a sapphire crystal face”; and Tecno’s concept for the world’s thinnest phone, which it claims has a massive 5,200-mAh battery.
Other notable reveals from MWC include Lenovo’s concept devices, including a solar-powered laptop and a flexible display laptop; Samsung Display’s concept devices, including a bezel-less design and flexible display concepts; and Deutsche Telecom and Fairphone’s circular router, which the companies prototyped using parts from old devices.
