TVs at HUD Played an AI-Generated Video of Donald Trump Kissing Elon Musk’s Feet

On Monday morning, federally owned televisions at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Washington, DC, began playing a looped video which appeared to be artificially generated and featured President Donald Trump bowing to kiss the feet of Elon Musk.
The building’s occupants had to turn off the TVs manually, and the source of the prank is as yet unknown.
This comes just days after leaked documents showed that Musk’s “Department of Government Efficiency” project looked to cut 4,000 employees from the agency, which is currently trying to address the US housing crisis.
Employees of HUD, and other federal agencies, were also emailed over the weekend by the Office of Personnel Management, asking for information on their achievements in the last week, a request that was later advised against by employees’ union leaders.
